A strategic note by the member of the MAGIC advisory board May Zeidani Yufanyi, a social scientist and currently the Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Officer at Bard College Berlin.
The note includes a brief background to racism in the German context, a short overview mapping the German Media, its influence, and its hegemonic character, and mapping of gender Islamophobia in the discussed German context. It also reviews the main objectives the author considers urgent for a coalition as the one MAGIC intends to build focused on the fight against gender Islamophobia.
