MAGIC has presented, in two public roundtables in Brussels and Verviers, the key findings and conclusions from the 15 months of analysis of Belgian newspapers (Le Soir, La Dernière Heure, and Het Laatste Nieuws).
During these roundtables, which brought together a total of 53 participants, it was discussed the main findings of the three monitoring periods, which analysed the topics of job discrimination and women in the public sphere, the radicalisation of gendered Islamophobia, and the liberal Islamophobia in foreign and culture articles.
The participants also discussed recommendations and actions as well as the project’s next steps.
